Hotel Gotham Newcastle enjoys a superb location, just a short walk from the main shopping area and close to the city's bars and restaurants, all easily accessed through its impressive courtyard entrance. Many guests find the Club Rooms spacious, luxurious, and full of thoughtful touches, with particularly comfortable beds; the minibar selections, including the complimentary tins of "Wata", are a definite highlight. Some guests have mentioned noise from nearby bars in certain rooms, however, the breakfast, with options like the full English and Craster kippers, is frequently praised, enhancing the 5-star experience.

The club double room was spacious. The bathroom was well-appointed (i did appreciate the attention to detail).
The corridors felt a little dark, more signage would help.

Really good Service and Stylish Stay

warm welcomeclean roomrestrictive drop off
i appreciated the warm welcome upon arrival and the helpfulness of the staff throughout my stay. the club room was spacious and clean (i really liked the thoughtful little quirks). the complimentary 'wata' added a special geordie charm.
the hotel drop off area was restrictive, limiting car access. on checkout, i waited 15 minutes and eventually walked to the main street with my luggage (it felt inconvenient). the members-only lounge felt unfinished, not quite meeting private lounge expectations.
