i use the bar and restaurant regularly. the managers really do put on amazing events for the village. the burgers and pizzas are fine! i had a fantastic time there. this place is really special, community-focused, family and dog-friendly for everyone.

the serving of meals finished rather early, it was 8pm, something that wasn't detailed on the menu in the room.

access was problematic one evening. i returned to find the door locked from the inside by another guest. this resulted in a wait in the cold until the manager gained entry via a fire escape. there were no emergency contact details available.

The location proved convenient. My event was only a fifteen minute drive away. staff showed me to my room, i found that quite nice. i appreciated steak and ale pie with hand cut chips. The gravy had flavour.
