some issues
dim lighting stained carpet
The lighting in the room was really dim, even with all the windows. it made it hard to see properly. also, the carpet had some stains and the furniture looked quite old. it didn't feel very clean because of that. Also. the staff didn't seem too concerned when i mentioned it. the courtyard noise was also a problem

the hotel had two good dining options and i chose the more casual terrace option. the food was very good. i was grateful for that. the apartment had a kitchen where i could prepare a meal myself if i preferred.

the location was central, providing easy access to many attractions. sam at reception offered a cute and helpful service throughout my visit. the bed in the apartment was comfortable... a real treat after long days.
the room was a bit cold even when the heater was on, so it took a while to reach a comfortable temperature.

the building has a well-kept pool of a good size. a cot and a high chair are available for families needing them. an equipped laundry is located in the apartments.

the building has so much history and the rooms are huge. the staff is very friendly and super helpful.
some noise from the restaurant below at night, not a huge issue though.

the pool is very nice and big, great for a good swim. the gym has treadmills and weights so i can keep up my fitness. there are several comfy lounge areas.
