I found the staff nice. Free WiFi was available. The carpark seemed clean and it was well lit. Location works for my needs. The St Pauli stadium was very close. New rooms exist and the sheets were clean and I encountered no noise.

The quilt and bedding are small for the bed. You can not change the shower angle, so the room always gets soaked.

I was disappointed by a couple of things. The bedding provided was insufficient for the bed size, leaving me a bit cold. I found it inconvenient that the shower angle could not be adjusted, so I ended up soaking the whole bathroom each time I showered (a minor detail, I admit).

I found recent refurbishment was noticeable. The rooms looked new and clean. Staff was helpful. They were always available when I needed something. Everything was as described before I arrived. The park close to the hotel was huge. This was great for walking my dogs.
