amazing stay!

attentive staff thoughtful gesture

i loved the hotel staff! they were really attentive and the food was delicious. yogendra, adzee, and gyanji packed some food for us to take on our trip on the last day. i think that was such a thoughtful gesture.

my room was next to the kitchen fan. it was very loud from 5:30 in the morning until about 10 pm. it got pretty annoying during the day!!

the restaurant served divine food with folk dance performances enhancing the experience, and i found the omelets to be a very good offering at breakfast. i saw that the staff were very helpful with every guest.

The hotel featured manicured lawns with peacocks parading around the grounds, and there were also outdoor activities with knowledgeable guides. the swimming pool looked really clean and well kept.

sewage smell broken shower

the swimming pool looked nice and the manicured lawns were acceptable.

the room smelled of sewage, quite unpleasant. the shower was broken, and it only produced scalding hot water. a constant buzzing sound (it was from a generator, i think) persisted throughout the night, preventing restful sleep. i spoke to reception after the first night, but they didn't address these issues at all.

Shyamlal and Mr Gupta provided great service at shikar bagh. I must visit this place once! I loved every corner of the place. The location of my room upstairs was great and i loved the tranquility.

The hotel room didnt have central heating, that was bad. The space heaters were to weak to help. There isnt a fitness room, that i think is bad. The hotel is old, there are issues with maintenance of the hotel.
