the owners were lovely and friendly. they worked so hard to ensure all guests were happy. they helped us with our bags and guided us to our parking space.

nothing was a big problem. the freezer was full of ice. i was told i could access the side gate to store a mobility scooter, but no key was supplied.

The promised side gate access for scooter storage never materialized. I rang about that security gate key, but nothing happened. also, i found some slug trails in the downstairs bedroom and hallway. it.

Okay Location, Some Disappointments

The location was acceptable. It was close enough to the seafront.

I was somewhat disappointed with my stay. The room felt quite unclean with noticeable dust in several areas. It was obvious the cleaning wasn't thorough. I also found the bed uncomfortable. It felt old and sagged in the middle.

My family and i stayed for a few nights and everything was spot on. the hosts, andy and jo, were attentive. They even dried our trainers when we got caught in a storm. the little bar was a nice touch for a quiet drink after a long day, and the rooms were super clean and cosy.

The only minor inconvenience was the parking situation. It can get a bit tight when the hotel is fully booked (though i understand this is common in the area).
