surprisingly charming stay
friendly staffunlimited breakfastfresh eggs
I found the staff very helpful and friendly. the unlimited breakfast was a nice bonus and the quality impressed me. i particularly enjoyed the fresh eggs and the fried bread. Compliments to the chef.
the floor was quite creaky, a little distracting at times.

The hotel includes a mini fridge in each room. This was quite useful, especially because it was warm outside. tesco extra is only a short two-minute walk away from the hotel. the beach is about a 5 to 10 minute walk away.

mixed feelings about the stay
tea making facilitiesinsufficient sound proofing
the room had tea making facilities, a convenient addition.
The noise insulation was insufficient. I heard conversations from adjacent rooms clearly and was disturbed early by departing guests. there was no sound proofing between rooms.

The staff offered great customer service. The place was tidy, and our room received daily sheet changes. This was important to me. I appreciate the attention.
The room was basic. It included old mattresses. The shower produced only cold water. I stayed during a noisy weekend, so noise at 2 am or 3 am did not surprise me.

the room was cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided. emma helped me with parking my car in front of the hotel. she also had a good knowledge of the local activities..
the corridor floors made too much creaking sounds as people walked by. this made it more difficult to sleep. the window was too small not allowing enough air to get in.
