the host was lovely and very respectful. the hotel has a good location as it's only about a 16 minute walk to the high street. there are loads of shops, banks, pubs and train stations available.

I requested checkin between certain hours and the host wanted to charge me extra if i arrived after a specific time. the host then argued with me about the charge and stated that he wasn't going to argue. Very odd. the room looked a little different than in the pictures.

The train station was a short walk away, about seven minutes. The family running the place was nice. They gave me a hairdryer when i asked. They even helped me with an adapter, which i appreciate.

The room had a SLIGHTLY strong smell.

the family owners were very pleasant and helpful. i was given my own keys, providing unrestricted access. the proximity to eastham train station was convenient. the hotel owners helped me with my laundry between work placements for a small fee.

this late fee issue created a negative start.

the hotel is approximately a sixteen minute walk from the high street, and it contains a number of shops, banks, pubs and train stations. the house resides on a quiet street, offering a peaceful inner city environment.
