Decent stay overall

decent size mini lounge area clean premises poor service parking problem sewage smell
The room was a decent size. The mini lounge area was A NICE little bonus. The location was also convenient for accessing nearby attractions. I found the premises to be clean.
Customer service was poor. Information on how to unlock the door and codes was done via ft. I thought that was unprofessional. Free parking is A problem. The bathroom had a sewage smell once you opened the door.

handy spot, bit small

ideal location quick key firm bed close parking
location was ideal, ten minute walk to town but away from the bustle so i got decent sleep. host seemed nice and sorted out my key straight away. bed was firm, and the shower worked fine. i liked i could park close by too.
room was a bit chilly first thing. i would have like to turn on the heat higher.

hotel is on a street with other hotels, but felt safe. it took me about ten minutes to walk to the shops. plenty of pubs nearby looked open.
Service

check in was fast, and the owner gave me the door code. he told me when i needed to leave by. i did not require much help, so it all went smoothly.
Dining

there was no restaurant in the hotel. plenty of places nearby seemed to offer breakfast. i did not use them though as i only needed a quick coffee in the room.

adequate but underwhelming

sewage odor poor shower
The bathroom emitted a noticeable sewage odor after opening the toilet door (i found this quite off-putting). the shower pressure was inadequate. Water trickled out rather than flowed. i think a deeper clean and shower maintenance are needed.

Clean Room and Good Location

good size room lounge area
The room had a very good size. The mini lounge area was a nice bonus. I pre-booked parking in front for £10. Check-out is at 11.
Customer service poor. Information on how to get in, unlock door, and codes was done via FT, which I though was unprofessional.
