the staff was okay. the location was pretty central.

The noise at night? terrible. i swear, the walls were paper-thin. I could hear every conversation, every snore, and every questionable activity from the neighboring rooms and hallway. the bathroom was a letdown too. The shower head sputtered more than it sprayed, and the water temperature fluctuated wildly.

My room had five power sockets. Many hotels do not have more than one or two. the staff was very friendly and helpful, always available when i needed something. this time my room had been repainted, and the furniture was new. the walk to plaza de espana took only about six minutes from there.

the room was not large, and it could feel small for a longer visit.

the hotel is near a beautiful park, a train station, markets, shops, and good restaurants. it looked further on the map than it actually was. the area surrounding the hotel felt quiet and peaceful.

The receptionists are professional, and they speak english well. online check-in was available in advance. This made the process very efficient. the staff was kind and ready to assist, so i had a problem-free experience, always feeling well taken care of.
