a few concerns overshadowed the stay

good locationpoor soundproofing
The location was indeed very good as it was close to the historical centre.
The sound proofing was an issue. I could hear everything happening at the front desk. It was quite distracting, and i hoped for more privacy in that regard..

The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast offered a good selection of fresh choices like eggs and fruit. I appreciated the excellent breakfast service EVERY morning.
Sound proofing in the rooms needs IMPROVEMENT. I stayed on the second floor and could hear activity at the front desk. The hotel charged separately for water, which i found unnecessary.

Acceptable stay , but some issues

decent breakfastinadequate soundproofingrestaurant noise
the Breakfast was decent , the menu offered good choices.
I was quite disappointed that the room's soundproofing was inadequate. I could clearly hear conversations from the front desk, and the noise from the restaurant lasted until late at night. It was difficult to relax, ESPECIALLY after a long day.
