A romantic retreat in a historic haven
helpful staff early check-in varied selection perfectly cooked eggs
The staff proved helpful to us. Upon arrival after a long journey, the gentleman at reception assisted my wife with her luggage. He also allowed us to check in ahead of schedule, a welcome respite. Breakfast included a varied and excellent selection, particularly the perfectly cooked eggs.
The road noise from passing traffic was noticeable.

The breakfast offered good variety and high-quality options. I found the breakfast room charming. The setting faces a church. One table near the window provided a lovely view.

The location is in a quieter area. While not directly next to major sights, it provides calm outside. The rato metro station is a short distance away. Walking south from the hotel takes you through a smart area.

My suite upgrade gave us plenty of space to relax. The antique decor throughout the room was attractive. The bed had very comfortable pillows. The room provided a relaxing retreat after exploring.

The historical building is fascinating and full of character. The entire place maintained immaculate cleanliness. It gave a sense of stepping back in time while having modern comforts. I enjoyed the unique atmosphere.

Service was excellent, especially the check-in experience. Staff willingly helped to arrange tours around the area. Paulo. His friendly chats were a highlight.

average stay with some issues
limited variety inadequate soundproofing
the breakfast offered little variety i found this disappointing. also soundproofing was inadequate i could clearly hear noise from adjacent rooms. the small bathroom felt cramped i wished there was more space. these issues detracted from the overall experience i expected better for the price.
