Guests frequently highlight the Douglas Hotel's clean and spacious rooms, many of which come equipped with kettles for coffee and tea. The bathrooms are often described as well-appointed, and the showers are a consistently positive point. While some guests have noted the exterior appearance doesn't fully reflect the warm interior, the hotel is conveniently located with direct bus access to Glasgow city centre, even though it's a slightly longer journey from the central station. immaculate cleanliness and helpful hosts

immaculate hallwayclean bathroomcomfortable bedhelpful host
the entrance and hallway were immaculate. my room featured soft, clean towels and a spotlessly clean bathroom with a great shower. the bed provided excellent comfort. the hosts were helpful, going above and beyond to assist with directions.
the heater was not initially on , so the room started out cold.
Facilities
9/10
the hotel provides convenient access to nearby bus lines , with a direct route to the city centre located just 300 meters away. these buses facilitate easy travel wishing to explore various parts of the locale.
Rooms
8/10
i had a big room with everything i needed. the key system allows guests to enter and exit at any hour. it reminded me of having a small private apartment , though it lacked kitchen facilities.

i found the location great, and i could easily walk to shops. it was also walking distance to the hospital i needed to visit, so that was very convenient!
my room had old sash windows. it was very cold because it was minus 3 outside when i stayed. i also noticed there wasn't a mirror in the room for dressing.
