charming stay
homemade granola generous portion convenient location
the homemade granola at breakfast was delicious i appreciated the generous portions served each morning the location proved very convenient for exploring i found lovely coffee shops just down the road our room was touched up daily which was a nice surprise to come back to. the staff were very helpful.
the old fashioned keys were a little awkward to use with the large doorknob it took a moment to get the hang of opening our door

a mixed stay
sealed window impersonal service
the breakfast was good, and i liked the location near the city center.
The room was much too warm, even with the fan going all night. the sealed window didn't help. also, the service felt impersonal. It was like a budget hotel experience.

the breakfast menu had fresh ingredients. holly and her attentive tea served it all. the gurney suite was presented beautifully. no detail had been overlooked. the bed was very comfortable. the shower was fantastic.
the fan provided in the room is loud, so i couldn't sleep with it on. rooms get hot, and a lighter duvet would have been nice. no long-life milk was provided with the tea and coffee in the room. it would be nice if maps were provided.

the room had a coffee machine. bottled water. the breakfast was delicious, and i appreciated the variety of options available.
The walls seemed thin. I could sometimes hear conversations from adjacent rooms.

sealed window uncomfortable temperature
the location was pretty good, close to the city center. it was easy to walk to many places.
i find the room temperature quite uncomfortable. the window was sealed shut, and only a fan provided limited relief. i did not get good sleep because of it.

amazing presentation comfortable bed separate sitting room
The Gurney Suite had amazing presentation. No detail seemed overlooked! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The accommodation included a separate sitting room, with a comfortable sofa.
The room was a bit dark. Though this was only a minor issue.
