Charming Stay Near the City Center

The location was perfect. It was easy to get into the city center by bus. I found the room clean and there were plenty of teabags, though the parking was expensive. The staff I met seemed polite, warm and very friendly to me!

The staff offered early check-in which was helpful as I needed to get to an event, and their helpful attitude made my stay more convenient and enjoyable because they were really thoughtful.

The room had thistle wallpaper and tartan curtains, a lovely touch, and was downstairs, very fresh and bright. There was a shower in the wet room, which I very much welcomed after the concert, and the space was well kept and tidy.

Breakfast included hot croissants and toast, a simple but good start to the day before exploring. The hotel is attached to a pub. It created no disruption as the rooms and reception were separate, and the whole hotel felt very inviting.

The staff were nice and helpful at check in. I could leave my bags before check in to explore. The hotel provided cards for halal food delivery spots. This was a bonus I appreciated.

I booked bed and breakfast. The hotel told me they don't do breakfast any more when I arrived. I paid for B & B so I feel disappointed. I had to get breakfast out, and it was an additional cost.

The room I had was small, SO SMALL. It barely fit the bed. the noise from the nearby pub was noticeable at night. I could hear music and chatter until late. The walls seemed thin. I wished it had been quieter.
