oxo gravyinconsistent portion
i visited on 2024-03-15 and the food quality was below expectations. the beef bourguignon tasted like it was made with oxo gravy. i noticed an empty bucket of oxo beef granules in the gents toilet near a leaky pipe. portion control seemed inconsistent too the kitchen staff needs to avoid using their hands to portion out salads in plain sight.

the staff were pleasant, i guess, nothing was too much trouble for them.
i booked a twin room shower, but it wasn't clean. there were hairs in the shower, and the floor was sticky, which i didn't like. also, the tv remote didn't work, so i had to get up and change the channels myself, this annoyed me.

An Okay Stay with Some Issues

oxo gravyportion control
My experience wasn't terrible, but the food quality was a letdown. The beef in my bourguignon tasted strongly of oxo gravy granules. I found an empty bucket of oxo beef granules under a leaky pipe in the gents' toilet, concerning. Portion control also seemed inconsistent throughout my meal.

The parking facilities were great I had no trouble finding a space. The breakfast service was amazingly fresh and hot everything tasted good. The staff were polite and eager to help with any questions I had.
The room was quite cold upon arrival I noticed this immediately. The windows were screwed closed I could not get any ventilation. There were no facilities outside of restaurant hours to get food or drinks this was a problem for me.
