Sweet Escape Near the Stadium

The location suited me well. It was very close to Headingley Stadium, a short walk I enjoyed after each event. Staff showed keenness to help out when I asked about nearby pubs. The room was super basic, true, but super cheap. It had access to a communal bar area that I appreciated.
The shower had some issues. It could use a serious upgrade, but for the price, I accepted it.

The room included hot drink paraphernalia. The bed was comfy even as a single. A working TV offered entertainment during downtime I enjoyed. Decor was simple, yet sufficient.

The building shows age and could use some tlc. I observed cracked floor tiles in the bathroom.

The location was excellent, providing easy access to nearby bars and restaurants. Free car parking was a definite plus, removing any concerns about finding a spot. I found the reception staff lovely and helpful.
The room was generally clean , but the whole place is in needed of a good refresh , including bathroom facilities.
