What Previous Guests Had to Say
Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Feeling Chiado 15 is appreciated for its spacious rooms, some offering amazing views of Carmo Square and the city from their balconies. Breakfast is a highlight, with some guests enjoying it right on their balconies. While most found the location ideal, being close to metro, train, and shopping, the hotel is located on the upper floors of a historic building without an elevator, meaning climbing several flights of stairs is necessary.

stairs and sewage smells not my idea of a pleasant stay

many stairs portable air conditioning
the staff were attentive to my needs i will give them that.
getting to the hotel with 96 stairs was quite a challenge i was not offered any assistance with my luggage also the air conditioning was a portable unit it struggled to cool the room and the exhaust pipe radiated heat back into the space defeating the purpose it seemed like a cover up for a more serious issue.

adequate stay with some drawbacks

limited light many stairs
The room felt cramped. it was on the top floor and had only a small skylight. This limited the natural light. also, the lack of an elevator was quite inconvenient after a long day of exploring. climbing all those stairs was tiring.

information booklet helpful details bag storage vibrating noises plumbing sound old windows
The provided information booklet offered helpful details. I also appreciated the staff storing my bag after checkout as it allowed me to explore the city further without inconvenience.
The plumbing made loud vibrating noises whenever water was used. The sound was noticeable from other rooms too. The old windows did not block sound effectively. The square below was noisy especially at night.
