the location was good and appropriate for a romantic escape (at least that's what i was looking for).

the toilet flush was not working correctly when we arrived, and it broke altogether the next day. a plumber spent three hours trying to fix the problem before admitting defeat and advising a new part was needed. we had to use buckets of water to flush the toilet for 18 hours.

i was impressed WITH the building's history, a former brothel transformed beautifully. The location was really good, close to everything YET the room was quiet. Our upgrade was such a great touch and the room itself was sumptuous and very unique. The staff seemed very helpful and i had no concerns whatsoever.

accessing the hotel with luggage involved several flights of stairs, which proved a bit challenging upon arrival.
