The staff at the front desk were very helpful. They answered all my questions about the area. The room included a fridge, useful. I also found the ice machine on my floor convenient for getting ice.
The gym was smaller than I expected. It only had two treadmills. I noticed that the wallpaper in the hallway was peeling in one spot. It could use some repair.

Really good Stay Close to Grand Central
renovated bathroomearly check-inconvenient location
My room included a renovated bathroom with a strong, hot shower. Jeff at the front desk provided an excellent restaurant suggestion, plus, he checked me in early. The location near Grand Central Station was very convenient. I also appreciated the cafetière in my room for morning coffee.
I wish there were more easily accessible electrical outlets in the room.

The Irish pub has a very inviting menu and the food was excellent. Breakfast included many choices. I particularly enjoyed the healthy options. Tartinery in the station has lentil soup and avocado toast.

The hotel's location near public transportation proved convenient. I found the staff consistently helpful and polite . I particularly enjoyed the traditional decor in the bar area. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options.
