Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
McGrath's Hotel offers nicely decorated and spotless rooms, some of which guests find spacious. The bar area has a relaxing atmosphere and excellent prices, and guests appreciate amenities like tea, coffee, biscuits, a mini-fridge, and a fan in the rooms, which are especially useful on warm days. It's conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the Winter Gardens, but some guests have noted that the surrounding area can appear run down. Many guests also enjoyed the great breakfast choices.

Just Okay, Some Issues

small room uncomfortable bed
The staff was friendly enough during check-in. That was acceptable.
The room was quite small. I barely had space to move around. The bathroom felt outdated. and cramped. The shower head sputtered water. The bed wasn't comfortable. I could feel the springs digging into my back.
