lumpy mattress inadequate blinds
The staff seemed helpful and the location was indeed close to the Winter Gardens.
My room was not what I expected. The blinds did not block out the light. The room remained bright all night. The mattress felt lumpy and creaked, which disrupted my sleep. I think the room requires a new mattress and better window coverings, or heavier curtains!

wonderful experience
warm welcome check-in experience general cleanliness pleasant decoration
the warm welcome i received was really good, possibly the best check-in ever. checkout at 11am suited me well. the room contained everything necessary, and general cleanliness was appreciated. i worried about the reviews i read after i booked, but my stay was great. it was cheap and the decoration was very pleasant.
i noticed some wear and tear on the decorations, mainly beds.

the location is close to the seafront and the beach. the tower is very close too. this made getting around easy.

the owner was friendly and very helpful with early check in. the staff messaged me to confirm my arrival time. fresh towels were promptly provided when i asked.

The continental breakfast included a selection of cereals. there was also porridge, muffins, and fresh fruit. tea and coffee were also provided. It was a great start to the day.

The room included tea and coffee-making facilities. it also had electric plugs and a dressing table with drawers. the shower included both hair and body wash. That was very useful.

solid stay near gardens
great location early check-in fresh towels
the location worked great for me. i was close to the tower and the winter gardens. the staff let me check in early. they were really good at providing fresh towels when i asked them.
the mirror light in the bathroom didnt work. the fan in the bathroom also didnt work.

a continental breakfast was complimentary. it included cereals, porridge, muffins, fruit, tea and coffee. the selection offered a reasonable variety. there was fruit available, bananas and apples.

my room was at the rear of the hotel. this made it quiet. it had a bed in the living area and another in the bedroom. the bed in the bedroom was comfortable.

a kettle was in the room. it was a little difficult to fill from the sink. i needed a water bottle to fill it easily. wifi access was available and the tv worked.
