the staff was kind. they were so helpful with anything i asked for! the hotel was located on a quieter street. it was just a few minutes walking distance from all the restaurants and downtown. the decor was beautiful!
the colour palette is rather sombre and bland. the carpet in the old part is a bit frayed in places and a cheap looking glued berber. there are mostly emulsion walls, in white or cream. i expected modern small power fittings. i wanted to be able to charge our devices from the sockets

I really liked that my premium suite included a spacious layout. the design had modern touches while respecting the building history, a really good combination. staff provided great service. They remembered my name and preferences. i appreciated the small details showing attentiveness.
I found the rooftop pool area a bit small. The limited loungers made it difficult to relax during peak hours.

Stylish and Quiet City Center Retreat

I stayed in the Beautiful Double Room for three nights. The room was very clean. I particularly loved the Guerlain toiletries provided. The housekeeping staff kept the room refreshed and also provided unlimited water and sugary treats (especially during turndown service!).
The color palette throughout the hotel felt a bit sombre. It could benefit from modern colorful designs. Our room overlooked the restaurant, so we couldn't open the curtains on the only two windows in the room as diners would look up at us.

The swimming pool and decking area provided a great bonus, mainly because the weather was warm. The Michelin star restaurant offered excellent breakfast options. The hotel provided a calm and nothing noisy (quite rare in the middle of the city).

The hotel is located on a quiet street. It is very central. The hotel is also a short walk from many bars and restaurants, so it is perfectly walkable to everything (which I loved).
