my stay included a really special Fado dinner. Live musicians AND a singer performed. This dinner offered an authentic cultural experience. The breakfast stood out with live piano and violin music. The hotel is in a former palace, something i find special.

the reception staff seemed slow at times, that is the only tiny aspect i can mention.

Allan greeted me, he was very kind. The dining staff also was fantastic. The front door gentlemen were available for help with bags. Breakfast includes live music, it is so gorgeous. The rooms were very clean! I had an amazing first impression of Portugal!

My room was small. The view overlooked the street directly outside, it was not what I expected. I complained to reception, but I got nowhere. I wanted a landmark view.

Breakfast happens in rooms with garden view or street view. Both are beautiful. Spa includes a sauna and hot tub. Guests can enjoy complimentary wine and cheese every afternoon, such a treat.
