fantastic central location

i appreciated the central location and proximity to key attractions. rossio station was easily accessible with just a short walk. the rooftop bar was a definite highlight with amazing views. the breakfast buffet was good, and i liked the option to eat in the varanda restaurant by reservation.
i noticed the windows didn't close properly. The ac was affected. it caused a terrible noise level at night, especially when facing the castle. i found this quite disruptive and would suggest better soundproofing.

The welcome gift of port and pastries was a lovely touch. i received a free drink at the rooftop bar. a ten percent discount on all food and beverages . the hotel is near the tram 28 stop and a metro station. i appreciated how central the hotel was!
my room wasn't quite ready when i arrived, even though i had confirmed my arrival time. i had to wait about 15 minutes, as the reception seemed understaffed and inefficient. this was a bit frustrating after traveling.

The hotel is centrally located next to martin moniz park. I really loved that it was so close to everything. the varanda restaurant is on-site with 270-degree city views, and it's easily accessible from public transport, made getting around simple.

the room i was assigned seemed to have issues. the air conditioning wasn't working properly and it took a while for them to fix it. also, there was considerable noise coming from the street and the air conditioning unit itself. this. i expected better from a hotel of this supposed caliber.

the breakfast was extensive, with many options available. i particularly enjoyed the rooftop bar with very nice panoramic views of the area. it was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring.
i found the street noise quite noticeable in my room, even on a higher floor. the windows seemed to let in a lot of sound, which sometimes made it difficult to sleep early.
