an acceptable stay
superb location attentive staff visible wear limited options
the hotel's location is undeniably superb. it is close to everything. the staff were also very attentive to our needs.
the room i stayed in showed signs of age. there was some noticeable wear and tear. also, i found the breakfast options limited. i expected a greater variety.

solid stay by the bay
safe neighborhood friendly staff quiet room beautiful views
i appreciated the convenient location near the beach and stanley park! it was easy to walk to many restaurants, i found the neighborhood quite safe. the staff was friendly, and the room was quiet. there was good food available, it had beautiful views.

The hotel is steps from english bay beaches. Stanley park is also nearby. the canadian trolley hop on hop off tour has a convenient stop right at the hotel. e-bike rentals are available immediately next to the hotel.

The standard queen room offered a comfy bed that was very quiet, i slept really well. rooms have english bay views. That is where i asked my wife to marry me. rooms lack air conditioning.

Breakfast service was great, i had a beautiful view during the meal. the restaurant and bar is delicious and has awesome views. The music in the bar adds local flavor. the restaurant is a great option,!

decent location, room issues
room discrepancy inedible meal
the location was good, near the park and transit.
The room i booked was not what i expected. I reserved a one-bedroom but got a room without a separate bedroom. they said some floor plans are like that, it was not what i booked. dinner at the restaurant was a mistake. My wife's meal was inedible and mine was almost as bad!!!
