the room was simple and clean. the location was advantageous, being just off the m5. there was also a toby carvery right there, and that provided easy access to food.

The corridor noise was easily heard within the room. I found that quite bothersome. there were cobwebs all over the ceiling, a real eyesore! stained towels were in the bathroom, i didn't think that was very hygenic.

The bathroom cleanliness was subpar. I noticed hairs in the shower upon arrival. the soundproofing was inadequate (I could clearly hear conversations from the adjacent room). This made it difficult to relax during the evening. The Wi-Fi signal was also quite weak, hindering my ability to work remotely from the room. These issues detracted from an otherwise satisfactory experience.

my room was noisy, it faced the reception area. this was a disabled room, i did not request it. the bathroom floor got wet after showering.

the family room was a decent size and the bathroom was super clean.

the reception was unmanned when i arrived after a long journey and i had to call. i rang and rang but nobody answered. it wasn't a great start to my stay (a bit of a shambles, really).
