The room had a guitar and a record player with numerous LPs. I found this quirky touch very appealing. The location is excellent. The Waterworks food hall is just across the street.. The staff was friendly and helpful.

the location PROVED convenient, placing me near essential city attractions.
several issues detracted from the experience. the room, while stylish, lacked practical amenities such as complimentary tea or coffee. I found this unacceptable. ALSO, accessing drinking water required a trip to the basement, to the gym area. This inconvenience added to my dissatisfaction.

This hotel prioritizes appearance over practicality. My "King Room" included only a small bistro table and an uncomfortable chair. That was the entirety of the usable surface area. The large windows had no drapes for privacy. Only flimsy blinds were present (.. ) These blinds did not stay closed properly. The bathroom lacked space to place toiletries, offering only small hooks and a shower too close to the sink. Water splashed everywhere. The music from a second-floor party was very loud one night. Hotel staff were unable to resolve it.

unique featurepersonal touch
The rooms had unique features (I especially liked the record player). Staff picked records added a personal touch. The location is perfect with the Waterworks food hall across the road. I enjoyed a great selection of food and coffee there.
The window blinds were cumbersome to access and operate. It made adjusting the room's light a bit challenging (a minor inconvenience, really).
