i secured a room with fine ocean views and a spacious layout. the bathroom included double sinks which helped us get ready faster and a separate rainfall shower. free shuttle service to tung chung mtr was convenient, so we explored local areas.
the bathtub was a little high, requiring extra caution.

The buffet featured a wide variety. it provided many choices and something for everyone. breakfast included both western and asian options, with fresh pastries and several hot dishes available. We loved the fresh fruit.

Discovery bay offers a peaceful escape. the area features beaches, hiking trails, and a relaxed atmosphere, perfect if you want a break from the city. the hotel provides easy access to lantau island trails. It is great for hikers.

Hotel staff was helpful. the reception desk was efficient and courteous, assisting us quickly with check-in. the staff happily provided directions and information about local attractions. It helped us plan our days.

The view and size of the room were acceptable.
The shuttle service to Disneyland was not as advertised. It only runs on Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays, taking you to the metro stop. The restaurant closed early for a private function. I also found that the hotel is quite old and the outlets in my room did not work. Not convenient at all.

misleading shuttlelimited service
The shuttle service situation was a bit misleading. i saw it advertised, touting easy trips to sunny bay and disneyland. it turned out this service operates only on fridays, saturdays, and holidays. and get this. The shuttle drops you at the metro stop for disneyland, not disneyland itself. what a joke!
