The staff were friendly and helpful . The location is close to the metro station. I found some nice restaurants on the street nearby.
The rooms are basic and moderately clean I noticed. The room was very hot so I had to open the window overnight. This made it very noisy in the morning however.

Balanced stay in Jesmond

spacious roomclean roomreed diffusertiny car parkheavy casesmoking area
I found the room spacious and clean. Reed diffusers created a lovely smell throughout the room. The bed was big and comfortable. I liked that the room had free bottled water.
The small car park had tiny spaces. I had to park in a disabled spot. I found it really hard carrying a heavy case up the steps into the hotel. Many people were smoking in this area.

The room felt quite worn. There were marks and scratches all over the place (honestly, everywhere). I found the bathroom outdated. The shower door leaked when in use, annoying.
