What Previous Guests Had to Say
Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Edinburgh Whisky House Hotel generally impresses guests with its convenient location, offering quick access to Edinburgh city centre via nearby tram and bus routes, and easy access to and from the airport. Many appreciate the spacious and clean en suite rooms, often equipped with comfy beds, TV, and tea/coffee facilities, with some rooms even overlooking Murrayfield Stadium. The pub on the ground floor is a plus, providing breakfast, and dinner with a wide choice of options, while the bar creates a cozy atmosphere; some guests have noted that the rooms are dated and could use some TLC. For those seeking a base near the city center, and easy access to amenities, it is considered by many to be an excellent value.

the location to the edinburgh rugby ground was super. parking right in front of the pub made things easier. the room had a good size and the bathroom too.
the staff refused us a drink at 10.30pm on saturday evening after being told that last orders were 10.45pm. the dining room was not clean while having breakfast. there was torn napkins on the floor and crayons.

mixed experience at this hotel

i found several issues that require attention. the shower had black mold. a very stiff bifold door made access difficult. the room lacked information regarding hotel services, bar prices, and even the wifi code. i found this lack of readily available information quite inconvenient.
