My room lacked storage. My clothes had to remain in my suitcase. The room was not all that clean. I saw mold in the grout in the bathroom. Early morning noise from bottle bins and cleaning staff disrupted any possibility of sleeping in.

i were a bit disappointed with some aspects of my stay. the bathroom lacked a working extractor fan, this meant moisture had nowhere to go after showers. the mirror was always foggy. i told the front desk about the towel heater not working, but they only changed the towels.

my room, the superior double or twin room, was spacious and well-equipped. i found complimentary bottled water and teacakes, a nice touch. the wardrobe space was good. the breakfast was AMAZING!!! it definitely set me up for the day.
the phone in my room didn't work. it was a minor inconvenience.

The location was acceptable. It allowed easy access to the city center.
The room lacked sufficient sound insulation. I could hear street noise late into the night and early morning. the bathroom fixtures showed considerable wear. The shower head was loose and sprayed water everywhere.

the room was very clean and well decorated. i especially liked the inclusion of complimentary water. staff members were also friendly . the bar provided a good atmosphere, particularly with the addition of live music, it added to the evening.
i noticed there was no plug near the mirror in the bathroom, made using styling tools a little difficult.

room themes provided a quirky slant to my stay. the in-room coffee making facility was excellent. staff were professional and helpful, and breakfast choices were first class. front desk staff reserved taxis and made suggestions for local visits.
the ventilation unit above the room was quite noisy. functions seemed to require it and it ran late into the night.
