Really good Stay with Great Service

immaculate roomuseful informationdaily maidbad smell
The rooms were immaculate, very well presented and tidy. A charming surprise! The staff are very helpful and offered lots of useful information about nearby attractions, ready to hand it out. The location proved superb, as many destinations were within walking distance. Beds are very large and comfy, daily maid service included fresh towels and condiments replenishment.
I felt the price to value ratio was not great. Upon arrival, my room wasn't ready despite notifying them of my early arrival. I had to wait in the reception, an area that felt stuffy with bad smells, unpleasant.
Service
10/10
Ed at reception was very helpful. He assisted me a lot, especially with parking arrangements. The staff offered complimentary drinks in the lounge between 5-6. They engaged in conversations and provided top-ups.
Rooms

Showers were lovely and the rain drop shower head was amazing. The heated towel racks were a nice touch. The room included a mini kitchen and easy access to plug sockets.
Facilities
9/10
Complimentary drinks were available in the lounge between 5 PM and 6 PM. There is a library area that was quiet. The hotel offers convenient shoe storage near the front door.
Dining
8/10
Although the hotel lacks a full restaurant, a coffee maker was included in the room. It offered a good range of coffee pods. A selection of quality wines, beers, or coffees are served in their elegant public areas.
Location

The hotel is situated in a charming neighbourhood, it is just a short walk from key attractions. The location is the West End, lovely and quiet. The area has surrounding bars and restaurants that are great.

the location was convenient to the city center. the staff were helpful with directions and suggestions.
the room size was disappointing. it felt much smaller than i expected based on the photos. closet space was almost nonexistent and the bathroom felt cramped. i also found the lack of on-site dining inconvenient. finding breakfast each morning became a chore.

decent stay, but some issues

shower doorlacking tea towels
The glass door on the shower did not fully cover the shower area. water splashed onto the bathroom floor during each use, quite annoying. the kitchen lacked tea towels. Plates were left stacked on the small surface to air dry.

Acceptable Stay

convenient locationpolite staffwell-stocked kitchenno restaurantblood spotsno apology
The location is convenient. It has easy access to bus stops and nearby cafes. I found the staff polite . The room had a well-stocked little kitchen area.
The hotel lacks a restaurant. Finding breakfast required going out with family. I noticed the duvet cover had some spots when I checked in. I was not offered an apology for this.
