The Raeburn is praised for its beautiful and spacious rooms, with the bathrooms and particularly the large tubs and powerful showers being a highlight for many. The hotel boasts a restaurant and bar with cozy and beautifully designed areas, serving amazing food, especially the steak and chips, with breakfast also standing out as particularly good. Situated in a lovely area with wee shops, the hotel is within walking distance of Dean Village and about 20 minutes from the city center; however, some guests have noted that rooms overlooking the front courtyard can be noisy due to bar patrons. the front of the hotel has a garden functioning as a bar with a great ambiance.

i have to admit i was a bit disappointed. the room's ventilation was poor, and it got REALLY stuffy at night. i wanted to open the windows, but the noise from the downstairs bar made it impossible. staff were also slow. they didn't seem very interested in helping us.
