the room was spacious it had all the facilities. table lamps gave a pleasant glow i found that romantic. breakfast offered plenty of choice and ample coffee.
on arrival we were given a double room i had booked a twin. we had to return to reception and request a twin room. the beds smelled of cleaning fluid i found it unpleasant.

the staff were attentive and helpful . i found the grounds to be beautiful and well kept. the conservatory was a particularly nice place to have dinner, with a lovely ambiance. breakfast and sandwiches was good, i'm grateful for quality ingredients.

the highgrove suite was lovely with a fabulous bathroom (i really liked the separate shower). all seven of us who traveled together loved our rooms. i attended a rocky horror dinner dance. the food was lovely and the atmosphere was great.
