Acceptable Stay, but Some Issues

The location was convenient as it was near the station.
The room felt quite small and a bit dusty. There was also a slight, consistent smell in the bathroom that seemed to come from the drain. It was not pleasant. I wouldn't have thought this was a 4-star accommodation because it felt more like a 3-star.

the hotel is near gotanda station, a convenient feature for getting around. breakfast offered a good selection of both western and asian dishes. i found a satisfying variety of options. i appreciated the view at reception.
the front desk is on the 15th floor. the room was not thoroughly cleaned. i found many strands of women's hair on the carpet, which stuck to my suitcase wheels.

the shower had good water pressure. a supermarket was very close. i stayed near the yamanote train line and it made getting around easy.
