Acceptable Stay

equipped roomsmall kitchenmissing blanketearly check-in
the room was well equipped. i appreciated having a small kitchen with a microwave and dishwasher. it was nice to open the windows, as so many hotels do not allow this now..
the staff did not guarantee early check-in though it was arranged via email. i asked for a cot and it was provided, but without a blanket. i was informed that they were out of blankets and offered a towel instead..

Comfortable Apartment Stay

My studio apartment included necessary kitchen amenities. A washing machine and a dryer were available, useful. I appreciated the quiet and the comfortable bed.
The lack of sunlight in the living room was an issue so I kept the door closed at night.

Excellent Amenities and Central Location!

automated check-incoffee podsgood bathroomgreat quality bedding
The automated check-in was convenient for my late arrival. My apartment had a good bathroom. I found tea bags and coffee pods for the coffee machine. The bedding and mattresses were of great quality.
I noticed the front desk staff could be warmer. it was a great stay.
Dining
9/10
I liked that there were many restaurants and pubs near the building. The lobby also had a nice area to get drinks, though I did not try them. The location makes it easy to access varied food options.
Location
10/10
The location was close to main attractions but just outside of the busy areas, though the parking was expensive. I walked easily to the castle and Waverley station from the hotel. The area was very quiet.

Acceptable stay overall

useful locationspacious bathroompoor communicationgarage view
the location was useful for getting around. i found many restaurants and shops within a short walk. the kitchen had basic equipment, so i could prepare simple meals. the bathroom seemed spacious too..
The communication before arrival was not great. i also had issues with the room itself. It was on level 1 at the back. this meant it faced garages, so tourists walked past the large windows and stared in.
