the bathroom emitted a strange sewer-like smell. the shower lacked a proper shelf for toiletries. towels and linens were not changed unless i requested it. the room wasn't soundproof, and i could hear noise from other rooms.

i found the location fantastic. bus stops to the tile museum and belem were very close, as was the terreiro do paco station. the cais do sodre was only a short walk away. i asked for a quiet room and got a top floor corner room, this was very helpful. the staff were kind and helpful from reception to the breakfast staff. the pastries were fresh and warm every day. cheeses and deli meats were also offered.

I noted a strange sewer smell in the bathroom at times. the shower lacked a proper shelf for shampoo and soap. room was not soundproof. I heard noises from neighboring rooms.
