vintage charm and excellent service

birthday surprisevintage decorperfect locationfaulty television
the staff left a note and decorated the room with balloons and a banner for my boyfriend's birthday (it was a lovely surprise!). the hotel's decor is beautiful and vintage. the location is perfect for seeing all the sights. i really appreciated the prosecco bottle that welcomed us.
the television in the room did not work properly. this could be a significant issue for some guests if they plan to spend much time in the room. i also found the room a bit cold even with the radiator turned on.

the breakfast room is located downstairs. note that music plays there throughout the night, which could be a consideration for light sleepers. breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!).
