Excellent stay with terrace and convenient location

I was grateful for the terrace connected to the room. Access to central park and the american museum of natural history was simple. I also found many dining options nearby. The neighborhood proved very cool.
The room's air conditioning unit was particularly loud. Earplugs were needed because the windows were sealed shut.

Serafina is conveniently attached to the hotel, and that added a significant benefit. The hotel offered comfortable common areas on the ground floor. Ample seating was available for meeting and relaxing.

The hotel offered proximity to my favorite sites. I appreciated its nearness to zabars and the apthorp. The american museum of natural history was a crowning jewel and very close.

comfortable bedhelpful staff
the bed was comfortable , and the room included usb ports for charging devices. the front desk staff were helpful , which was appreciated after a long day of travel.
the hotel lacked an ice bucket , so i had to find alternative solutions to keep my drinks cold.

mixed experience, some issues noted
convenient accessscaffolding issuesharp edges
the location offered convenient access by bus to central park and the metropolitan museum.
i encountered scaffolding on the front of the building throughout my stay. it obscured the windows in my room and resulted in a dreary atmosphere. the room itself was furnished rather basically. metal locker type cabinet doors had sharp edges that i found concerning.
