The Augusta Boutique House is celebrated for its superb location right in the heart of Lisbon, offering easy access to attractions like the Santa Justa elevator and being close to many restaurants. Guests often enjoy the breakfast served on the rooftop terrace or in the library, which includes fresh bread, croissants, orange juice, and more, although some have noted the limited cooked options. Rooms feature amenities like Nespresso machines, and many offer great views, such as of the Castelo Saõ Jorge; plus, the soundproofing ensures a quiet stay despite the lively Rua Augusta below.

a decent stay overall

helpful staff rooftop view dry bread broken door
the staff were very kind and helpful . the rooftop terrace provided a dreamy view, and i could really relax. i appreciated being able to walk to restaurants and the metro with ease.
the breakfast did not meet my expectations. the bread was dry, and the boiled eggs were either hard or too loose. also, the door to the bathroom could not close properly. it was a small inconvenience, but noticeable.

decent experience

excellent location pedestrian street rooftop breakfast helpful staff small room cramped bathroom cooking smell
The location was excellent, right on the pedestrian street (i could easily pop back to the room for a quick rest). breakfast was served on the rooftop. the staff was also helpful. They gave me a map and tips for exploring the area.
my room was a bit small, and the bathroom felt cramped. the opaque glass door of the bathroom didn't close properly. also, my room overlooked the building's air shaft, so opening the window let in cooking smells.

Really good stay with fine views!

perfect location castle view helpful elevator
The location was perfect, right on the main street. The room had an excellent view of the castle (I especially liked watching the sunset). The elevator was a significant plus, so I didn't need to worry about carrying luggage upstairs.
The bathroom door was difficult to close properly.
Rooms
9/10
The room was quiet despite being on a busy pedestrian street. It had fresh air as I could open a window in both the bathroom and bedroom. A super comfortable king bed was great.
Service
10/10
The staff was helpful and accommodating. They seemed eager to please. If I had early tours scheduled, they were prepared to provide a to-go breakfast (very convenient!).
Dining
9/10
The breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!). It was nice to eat outside with a view. I could also have a glass of wine on the terrace in the evening.
Facilities
9/10
The facilities were clean and modern. The elevator worked well throughout my stay. Public transportation was easily accessible, though I could walk to many main attractions.
