broken coffee machineineffective air conditioning

the air conditioning in the room barely worked. it was stuffy, and i didn't sleep well. we faced the street and opening the windows meant constant traffic noise. so, i had to choose between noise and heat. it seems the goal was to not sleep well. also. the complimentary coffee machine was broken
