lovely stay with thoughtful touches
free minibar informative guide city tour polite staff
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this hotel. the free minibar was a welcome surprise, fully stocked with soft drinks i enjoyed (it was restocked daily). the walking tour provided a great introduction to the city. The guide was very informative. the staff were helpful (and so polite!), always ready to assist with directions and recommendations.
The lift doors had some faded food photography. It felt slightly out of place.

the hotel is a short walk from the river (about three minutes). the train station is easily accessible, just a five-minute walk away. a bus and tram stop is conveniently located right outside the hotel.

the superior double room featured high-quality bedding, ensuring a restful sleep. a rainfall shower was included. the room size provided ample space to relax after a day of sightseeing.

the hotel offered a sauna, a spa, and a turkish bath for relaxation. a refreshment bar in the lobby featured cookies and candy (a sweet treat!). free city tours were also available .

decent stay with minor drawbacks
friendly staff complimentary snacks ice cream machine limited minibar underwhelming breakfast slow service
the staff were friendly and professional. a city tour was available twice a day and it was free. i found this to be a great way to get oriented. complimentary snacks and an ice cream machine were always available in the lobby, that was cool.
the minibar had limited options. it only had soft drinks and beer. the complimentary evening cocktails were not excellent. one night there was sangria, another night punch. i think that the breakfast was underwhelming. i waited 15 minutes for a coffee.

Really good hotel experience!
friendly staff best service ideal location
The staff seemed like FRIENDS. I think this is the best service I have ever received. The front desk manager seemed more like a host. He was the best. The location is great, ideal for exploring the area on foot..
The minibar had limited choices. I understand it is complimentary, BUT offering only soft drinks and beer felt mean-spirited. I would have liked more variety.

The included breakfast was beyond my expectations. Breakfasts are served at the table, so there is no queueing for self-service. The hotel has a nice bar that serves brunches too.. they are amazing value for money.

The hotel is in an excellent central location. It is very quiet too. Baixa and Cais do Sodre are within easy walking distance. Tram and bus stops are close by. A selection of restaurants are also nearby.

a decent hotel with some minor issues
special staff friendly staff yoga class limited minibar disappointing cocktails soft drinks
the staff were very special. they were knowledgeable and friendly. the tours and yoga class were nice offerings. the coffee and breakfast food were really good.
The minibar is limited. It only offered soft drinks and beer. the complimentary evening 'cocktails' were disappointing. one night i had sangria, another night i had punch.

daily tastings walking tours
the daily wine tastings created a sense of community among guests i enjoyed the walking tours offered they showed me hidden gems near many sites i felt safe always and discovered transportation easily
the minibar had limited options offering mostly soft drinks
