mixed feelings about the stay

closed rooftop bar incorrect breakfast

the location was easy enough for getting around the area.

I was disappointed with the rooftop bar. it was often closed at short notice and that was frustrating. breakfast was also a letdown. My order was wrong and it was never fixed despite my attempts.

my room was a superior double or twin room. it was clean. the staff offered restaurant recommendations. i was allowed to check in early (arriving from the states) so i could change and be ready for my day.

the rooftop bar was closed for refurbishments. this was not communicated prior to my stay. i could hear everything from the room next door. i could hear people going to the restroom.

fresh food friendly staff really good service rooftop bar winter season room noise

The breakfast included very fresh food. High quality was evident. The staff were very friendly. The service was really good.

I was not informed that the rooftop bar was closed. It was closed for the entire 2024 winter season. This bar was one of the main reasons I stayed at this place. I could hear everything from the room next door. I could hear people going to the restroom, snoring, and talking.

inconvenient location disinterested staff

The room was excellent and very well presented (especially the complimentary toiletries).

The location proved inconvenient. Finding nice restaurants required a considerable walk. The staff seemed uninterested in assisting with directions or recommendations. The parking situation was particularly bothersome, the hotel did not have enough space for the car, and I had to find alternative parking far away.
