The location provided easy access to many attractions. The blackout blinds in my room were very effective. The air conditioning worked efficiently, maintaining a comfortable temperature. The staff proved very helpful in all my requests.

I noticed some slight wear and tear on the walls in the room but it did not affect my stay.

The location was acceptable being close to Darling Harbour.

The room temperature was stuck at 22 degrees. A staff member looked at it but didn't fix it. Electric blinds jammed and nearly fell apart. Staff said it needed proper repair but it didn't happen . A wake-up call happened at 7:30 despite nobody ordering it and breakfast had flavorless food.

Online check-in claimed my room was ready. what a joke. i got there and of course it wasn't. finally got a room before the official check-in time, but it was a disaster. rubbish littered the floor, countertops were grimy, and there were suspicious food stains on the wall. plus, the shower had a lovely colony of mould. the bar scene didn't help either. The hostess acted like she was doing me a favour by seating me, even though the place was practically empty. the staff promised to send extra amenities as compensation for the dirty room. surprise, surprise nothing ever arrived. anniversary stay? ruined. and don't even get me started on the $116 parking fee across the street.

i stayed in a king room with darling harbour view. the king bed was comfortable. i liked being within walking distance to darling harbour, star casino, town hall and wynyard train stations, queen victoria building.. a convenience store is just across the road.
