What Previous Guests Had to Say
Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests consistently praise the modern feel and excellent facilities, with the swimming pool frequently mentioned as a highlight. Many appreciate the hotel's convenient location, just a short walk to the tram line for easy access to both Edinburgh city center and the airport. The presence of a KFC and Krispy Kreme directly across the road is seen as a definite plus for some. While most find the rooms spacious and well-equipped, a few guests have noted issues with room temperature control .

The cleaning staff did an amazing job. The rooms were super clean. The hotel's proximity to the tram makes travel into the city center simple. I found that the beds and other facilities were very good. The pool was beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious.
The gym only has a few machines. It feels quite small.

Standard stay near public transport

clean reception areadaily housekeepingconvenient locationfaulty temperature controlnoisy roomtram line
The reception area was clean and cute. Daily housekeeping maintained clean rooms and bathrooms throughout my stay. I found the location convenient with close proximity to the tram and ScotRail.
The room temperature control did not work properly. I had to open the window to maintain a comfortable temperature. The proximity to the tram line made the room noisy when the window was open.

I found the tram station offered quick access to the city center. Breakfast included smoked salmon and guacamole, a nice surprise. I enjoyed having dinner at the hotel restaurant. The service was excellent. The reception team was helpful .

The pool area was a let down. I found the pool filled with parents and babies at swimming lessons. This meant there was no space for other guests to swim, and many could not relax on a sun lounger. This situation occurred on multiple days. Staff did not inform us about the swimming lessons.
