Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Motel One Dublin enjoys a very central location, right behind O'Connell Street and near Penneys, making it easy to explore Dublin's shopping malls and attractions. The LUAS stop right outside provides convenient access to Connolly St Station. Guests appreciate the clean and spacious rooms, with some on higher floors (like the 7th) offering lovely city views; while most find the rooms comfortable, a few guests have mentioned issues with the room's heating system during winter. The hotel also features a comfortable 24-hour bar, which many find a great bonus.

basic and overpriced

acceptable locationmalfunctioning tvexpensive price
the location was acceptable it allowed easy access to the city center.
The television kept turning off by itself i found this frustrating. the control for the air conditioning kept failing it was annoying to reset it constantly. i also didn't like the shower because water went all over the floor. It was too expensive for what it offered.

The room was clean.
The air conditioning unit was very loud at night. I had trouble sleeping. The television signal was also intermittent. I had to switch it off and on again often (it was really annoying).

acceptable, but with some setbacks

helpful staffunavailable channelswet floor
the staff at check-in were helpful (i must admit).
the tv was a letdown, most channels were unavailable, or showed content in another language. the air conditioning barely worked, i tried to open the window for some air, but it only opened a crack. also, there was no door on the shower so the bathroom floor became very wet after each shower.
