complimentary water coffee quality breakfast variety
My wife and I enjoyed the room's four complimentary water bottles. The coffee was good. I especially appreciated the wide variety of options at the breakfast buffet (it included gluten-free choices!).
The check-in process felt a little slow due to issues with the card machine.

a solid experience.
clean room best food great shower
the hotel room was quite clean. the half-board option had some of the best food i had in sri lanka. the shower facility worked very well!

the hotel connects directly to a shopping center. this mall has many options for both shopping and eating. tuk tuks are readily available just outside the hotel if you want to explore.

The staff at the horizon lounge were quite professional. housekeeping was very efficient each day. the restaurant staff addressed dietary needs very well. Nothing seemed too difficult for them to handle.

great view diverse options direct access
My room provided great lake views with the lotus tower visible from the window. breakfast had very diverse options and the staff was amazing. one galle shopping centre is connected directly to the hotel. Tuk tuks are available to visit local sights.

incompetent service wrong wine
the room was super clean, i guess. i really can't say more.
the bar service was a joke. it took ages to get a drink, and they messed up the order anyway. i asked for a specific wine, but they brought the wrong one and struggled to fix it. it was a special level of incompetence.

Balanced stay at the hotel
great view caring staff excellent breakfast welcome drink plastic toilet seat food quality
The room offered great views of the port area. It also provided convenient access to a shopping center nearby. The Central restaurant provided excellent breakfast. Caring staff created a cute atmosphere.
I found some aspects less satisfactory. There was no welcome drink upon arrival. The plastic toilet seat was a basic issue in the otherwise smart bathroom. The Sri Lankan food quality was disappointing.
