Awesome Hotel near Quayside!
separate bedroom friendly staff
I was happy with the separate bedroom in my suite. It helped when traveling with family. The onsite parking was secure and convenient. Staff at reception had a friendly attitude.
I found the breakfast buffet had a smaller selection than I expected.

The hotel is near to city center. I saw many shops and restaurants within walking distance. It is roughly 10 minutes walk to the Quayside waterfront area.

The reception staff was helpful and friendly. A race pack was given upon arrival for the Great North Run. Yenny and Jason checked me into the hotel with a warm welcome.

fantastic stay
helpful staff breakfast variety convenient location
all staff members were polite and helpful. the breakfast options provided a great variety. the location near the quayside provided easy access to attractions. i found the complimentary hot drinks unexpected and much appreciated.
the windows could not be opened , and the air in the room felt stuffy even with the air conditioning on. i wished fresh air could circulate more easily within the rooms.

the fitness room has several modern machines. i noticed there are three treadmills, two stationary bikes, and a selection of free weights available to use, encouraging a comprehensive workout experience.

i found the breakfast to be quite poor. the food quality was not great (it seemed like pre-cooked items). also, the breakfast area was understaffed, which led to slow service.

i found the rooms clean and neat. i enjoyed the 24-hour coffee service. the breakfast offered sufficient choices and the staff were friendly and eager to help with any concerns i had.
finding where to pull in was difficult , i ended up looping around the block a few times.

watery scrambled eggs burnt sausages
The location was acceptable. It was within walking distance of the city center.
The breakfast was disappointing. The scrambled eggs were watery, and there were no other egg options Available, sausages were burnt. This greatly affected our overall experience.

lacking housekeeping excessive parking fee
the breakfast choice was excellent, a point i must highlight.
The lack of daily housekeeping over the weekend was disappointing. I discovered this only from a small note in the room. this detail should have been communicated during check-in. additionally, the charge for parking felt excessive given the room rate. i paid £13 per night, a cost i found unreasonable.
