the hotel IS like a living museum, showcasing Japanese art and culture. I enjoyed exploring the exhibitions and the Hundred Steps garden, each a masterpiece. The staff showed such kindness and attentiveness to every detail. I felt pampered and cared for . Rooms were spacious. They provided a relaxing haven after exploring the city.
The hotel is quite large, it sometimes felt a bit like navigating a convention center. It detracted slightly from the otherwise intimate experience.

I found the hotel beautifully decorated. It seemed like staying in a museum with its 2500 antique crafts and ornaments. the hotel tour took 90 minutes, such an very nice experience. the rooms were surprisingly huge, a real plus compared to other places. the staff was kind and helpful, i really appreciated it.
the breakfast menu remained consistent each day, which became a little monotonous! but its quality was undeniably excellent.

The breakfast buffet had a very wide array of delicious choices. The hotel also has streams with fish, a waterfall, and trees in the lobby.
The gym is in the adjacent office building and some guests can use it while others cannot.
